The Knowledgeable Registrar: A Recommendation

I think I’m late to the party, but I just learned of an excellent blog on higher education. My boss and Provost, Dr. Bob Wood, passed it on to me with his highest recommendation. My last post was on being competent, and one key to competence is knowledge. Alex Usher, of Higher Education Strategy Associates, writes a daily blog that is very, very good. My favourite post so far is Degrees That Matter. I have shared it with our Enrolment Management team, because it helped me see with greater clarity how important it is to align student and institutional goals. We can tweak some of our written materials and the scripts we use to show students that we understand what matters.

I highly recommend that you include Alex Usher in your professional development reading.
