Joanne Ferguson has just completed 15 years of service in the Office of the Registrar. Joanne knows what success is: making sure students are billed appropriately. And when they’re not, she makes it right. Joanne spoke to me the other day about this and expressed very clearly that when students are not served well, especially with their money, the Registrar’s Office loses their trust. As Chris Brogan and Julien Smith wrote, trust is everything in business these days. Of course, it’s everything in universities too.
